Always dilute essential oils before topical application. Keep them out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Consult a healthcare professional before use if pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition.
Always test the soap on a small area of skin (such as the inner wrist) before full use to ensure there are no allergic reactions or sensitivities to essential oils, botanicals, or natural ingredients.
Handmade soaps contain oils, botanicals, and fragrances that can irritate the eyes.
If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with cool water.
These soaps are crafted for cleansing the skin.
Do not ingest.
Do not use internally.
If you experience redness, itching, burning, or discomfort, stop using the product immediately.
Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
Keep soap in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve scent and quality.
Allow the bar to dry between uses to extend its lifespan.
Even natural and organic ingredients can trigger allergies.
Check the full ingredient list if you have sensitivities to:
Nuts (nut-based oils)
Coconut
Botanicals (lavender, eucalyptus, etc.)
Essential oils
Goat milk or honey
While natural, essential-oil-based soaps can be potent.
Use mild varieties for young children and avoid bars with strong essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus, or tea tree.
Some essential oils can be harmful to animals even with small exposure.
Do not apply to open wounds, rashes, or infected areas unless approved by a healthcare provider.
Certain essential oils are not recommended during pregnancy.
If pregnant or nursing, consult with a healthcare provider before using highly scented or essential-oil-rich bars.
Ensure all soap residue is rinsed off the skin to prevent dryness or irritation.
Handmade soaps may vary in:
Color
Shape
Scent strength
Always extinguish candles when:
Leaving the room
Going to sleep
Children or pets are present and unsupervised
Place candles on:
Flat, level surfaces
Heat-safe candle holders
Away from anything that can catch fire (curtains, bedding, paper, décor)
Before lighting:
Trim wick to ¼ inch
Prevents soot, mushrooming, and large flames
Helps candle burn cleanly and evenly
Avoid placing near:
Open windows
Fans
Air vents
Drafts cause:
Uneven burning
Excessive soot
Tunneling
Flickering flames (fire hazard)
Let the candle burn until the top layer of wax melts all the way to the edges (usually 2–4 hours).
This prevents tunneling and helps candles last longer.
Burning too long can:
Cause wick to move or mushroom
Overheat the container
Create a dangerous flame size
Allow the candle to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.
Remove:
Wick trimmings
Matches
Dust or debris
Anything inside the wax can become a fire hazard.
Even organic candles can be dangerous if:
Knocked over
Chewed
Touched when hot
Always store candles safely.
Most containers should not be burned all the way to the bottom due to overheating risk.
Do NOT blow directly on the flame.
Use:
A candle snuffer
Wick dipper
Lid (if approved for use)
This prevents:
Hot wax splatter
Excess smoke
Store candles:
In a cool, dry area
Away from sunlight and heat
This preserves scent strength and prevents organic wax from sweating.
Even though your candles are organic:
Some customers may be sensitive to essential oils
Always list all fragrance ingredients
Recommend testing in a well-ventilated area first
